Midas in Boston

Since a while, I want to introduce statues and figurative subjects in my work, with not much success. I think that the whole period asks for a reminiscence of myths, narratives and beauty in art. My abstract works are interesting but don’t respond to this demand (or is it me who wants this narrative?). In watercolors, a closed and classical way of painting always looks like the French bande dessinée. I’ll have either to use an appearance of mixed medias, drawings with watercolors, or switch to another medium.
